Psalm 127:4 says, “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth.” This verse changed Esther’s life as a mother, so she started blogging in 2014 to share the easy and challenging lessons of aiming God’s arrows in His direction. As the blog continued and even gave Esther opportunities to encourage others in her local community, Esther realized just how powerful and necessary it is to highlight the parenting journey in the midst of being married to her amazing husband, Emmanuel. With the wisdom and love of God that sustains them, Emmanuel and Esther share their ugly-beautiful journey of aiming arrows here as perfectly imperfect archers who greatly depend on God.
Emmanuel and Esther currently reside in Raleigh, NC, where they enjoy spending time with each other and fam/friends, meeting new people, doing silly dances to annoy each other, taking last-minute trips to the beach, singing loudly to old-OLD-school gospel music, tickling their kids until they laugh from their bellies, singing lines from 90s R&B songs to each other, watching a good basketball game and being active members of their awesome church community.
